Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including follow-ups and reminders.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient office operations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a dental assistant
- Familiarity with dental software preferred. (We use Open Dental)
- Knowledge of medical and dental terminology is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients of all ages.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
