Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartender by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, and garnishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle bussing duties by clearing empty glasses and dishes from tables and the bar.
• Support with cash handling by assisting in processing transactions when necessary.
• Help with catering events or special functions as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of catering services is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
