*Job Overview*
Grey Hawk Bar & Gardens is seeking a part time Barista / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, cocktails, food, and exceptional customer service skills with the ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Autonomous work environment with tips.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Confirm event reservations as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist in food preparation, food and drink running, and food service as needed
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure quality control
- Utilize CLOVER POS system for order processing
*Requirements*
- Prior experience in food handling, customer service, or a café setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage service
- Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support wherever needed
