About the Position :
This full time seasonal position is responsible for supporting our Members with assisting with their golf needs -from bag handling to cleaning and preparing golf carts for member use. Position. This position is primarily outdoors.
As with all positions, the position will continually exemplify and promote the core values, mission and culture of the Grey Oaks Country Club team.

Requirements
Primary Responsibilities :
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the outside services at the club. The associate will strive to uphold the policies, standards and guidelines set forth by the club.
Greet each member, guest cheerfully, enthusiastically and with a smile, and warm eye contact.
Assist members and guests with any unloading of golf equipment and directions for parking.
Help in any way to ensure that each Guest enjoys his / her golf experience.
Be required to wear a uniform provided by the golf course with no visible stains, tears or adverse markings unless approved by management. Nametags will be provided and worn at all times.
Prep golf carts with scorecards, water, towels, and stage them in the golf cart staging area.
Assist players with any mechanical cart issues and arrange with cart staff the towing or replacement of any needed carts.
Wash cart, replenish cart with proper supplies, readying for tomorrow's business, and park in designated row.
Set up driving range in the morning with the necessary number of bag stands and a full complement of golf balls at each stand, making sure each station is provided with a towel, tees, and an alignment stick.
Break down the driving range in the evening making sure to remove all golf balls on the practice and tee areas (dependent upon maintenance mowing schedules).
Bag drop area and cart staging area should be attended throughout the entire day. At the end of players round, attendant will clean players clubs and load them in the guest's vehicle or take to the bag drop.
Provide Starter with needed assistance anytime Starter sees fit.
Keep in constant communication with the Starter and other player assistants.
At the end of your shift, place your radio on charger; making sure charger light is illuminated.
Report to the golf shop any irrigation breaks, accidents, or unusual circumstances.
Cover other areas if shorthanded, such as, but not limited to, picking up disabled carts, delivering messages, helping bag staff, picking the range, pulling carts to and from the barn.
Perform driving range attendant position and other requests made by professional staff.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education / Experience
- One to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures
- Ability to operate golf carts
- Present a positive, professional image
- Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable and predictable attendance
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
