The business unit this person would support boasts an impressive portfolio of nearly 2,500 outdoor advertising faces including Bulletin, Poster, and Digital Billboard options that span the 3 states of North Dakota, South Dakota & Montana.
Overview:
As an Advertising Sales Executive, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and maximizing sales by engaging with both new and existing customers. You will lead efforts in presenting, selling, and promoting their media solutions, and collaborating with advertising agencies. We're looking for a motivated, high-energy individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and is eager to develop and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their advertising needs
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market insights
- Examine current clients for unmet needs and present recommended solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with current and new clients, understanding their business, and demonstrating how the products and services offered provide value
Tactical Tasks:
- Relationship prospecting (cold outreach and daily email prospecting)
- Collaborate with local business owners/managers as well as regional and national advertising agencies
- Partner internally and externally to provide campaign conception/ advertising solutions
- Contract negotiation
- Manage customer service, build relationships, and provide continuous follow-up to customers
- Manage the lifecycle of each opportunity
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in advertising, media, or marketing
- Prefer 5-10 years of sales experience
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- High energy and positive demeanor
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Successful time management and organization via sales tools supplied by employer
