The Technical Designer will be responsible for providing support to the Product Development and Technical Design department by relaying information to and from overseas, tracking all samples / submits and acting as a liaison between multiple departments within the company.
Technical Design Responsibilities :
- Support Technical Design Directorto measure and prepare samples before all fit sessions and record comments to ensure final fit, quality and construction meet all standards.
- Lead live fittings. Take photos in fittings on live models.
- Attend weekly fittings; provide PD / Technical Design team with sample status updates.
- Communicate with overseas partners to ensure construction and fit execution.
- Create and update specs.
- Prepare technical fit comments from development to production.
- Work closely with the PD team to ensure calendar adherence.
- Handle and process drapes passed from Technical Design to be sent to overseas team
- Maintain and organize sample closet
- Work on special projects.
