Position Title: Research Assistant (Contract-Based)

Duration: 6-Month ContractHours: 10-20 hours per week

Compensation: $20 per hour

Location: Remote and/or On-Site at Grey Team (Boca Raton, FL)

Position Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Research Assistant with prior research experience to join our team for a six-month contract. This role will contribute to a study examining the effects of Cold Water Immersion (CWI) on PTSD recovery, inflammation reduction, and overall health outcomes in veterans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in participant recruitment, screening, and scheduling for the study.
• Collect and organize data using Google Suite, Typeform, and other databases.
• Support the research team in analyzing physiological and psychological data, including sleep patterns, heart rate variability (HRV), and biomarker panels.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of research records.
• Collaborate with team members to generate preliminary findings and reports.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices when working with veteran participants.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Neuroscience, Public Health).
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of research experience. Experience working with veterans or PTSD research is a plus.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Typeform, and database management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently within a flexible hybrid environment

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
