Detailed Job Description: 1) PRS (Integrated Policy Renewal System) / EPS (Earned Premium System)
An in-house transaction processing system designed for Workers Compensation Insurance premium calculations, adhering to NYCIRB guidelines for both advance and earned premium types.
- Main Modules: Declarations, Renewals, Rebills, Audits, Audit Rescind, and Audit Adjustments.
- Tasks: Systems enhancements and production fixes.
2) Billing and Collection System
- A web-based, in-house application for billing and collections with functionalities including cash processing, refunds, journal entries, non- payment cancellations, and policy reinstatements.
- Tasks: Systems enhancements and production fixes.
3) PayGo (Pay-as-You-Go) System
- A web-based online system for tracking premium payments made directly by payroll vendors for enrolled policies.
- Features: Tracks payment variances against initial policy renewal estimates and generates reports for business users on various PayGo- related metrics.
