What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Greyhill Group?
Responsibilities include: (but are not limited to):
-Executes the maintenance required to prepare newly vacated units for new move-in including painting, minor plumbing, electrical, appliance and carpentry repairs.
-Assist in maintaining grounds upkeep and keep them trash-free.
-Assist in the process of completing work requests in a timely and effective manner.
-Communicates status of work projects to supervisor and office management.
-Applicant must be able to handle all basic maintenance issues including: Major appliances, drywall installation, repair and finishing, general carpentry.
-Applicant must have some plumbing and HVAC skills.
-Applicant will be asked to pick up material from Home Depot when necessary.
Must have own transportation and drivers license.
Jobs will be mostly consistent of working on smaller/medium jobs in occupied and vacant apartments.
Must be local in order to handle occasional emergency calls.
Assist with maintaining company standards for property security.
Monitor inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and supplies at appropriate levels.
Being able to handle small turnover jobs is a plus. This includes flooring, cabinets installation, appliance installation, minor electrical work, painting and general work.
Applicant must be able to log hours and jobs as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
