POSITION OVERVIEW

The Creative Director will lead the development of innovative campaign concepts and guide cross-functional teams from ideation through to execution. They will be responsible for shaping bold, brand-building, and compelling ideas across all channels. This role involves providing strong leadership and inspiration while drawing out exceptional ideas from creative team members. The Creative Director must also navigate challenges, offering solutions that benefit the company, clients, and creative team alike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Direct projects from concept to completion with minimal oversight from ECDs and GCDs, ensuring that creative ideas are executed in an exceptional way –

· Act in the best interest of the client’s and/or the agency’s big idea when managing the day-to-day operations

· Provide creative guidance to ensure ideas are tied to strategy, pushing for Famously Effective ideas internally as well as with the client

· Manage the client relationship and lead creative meetings/presentations to the client

· Generate ideas to help pitch and win new business

· Lead effective team meetings to both organize high quantity of work, but also to inspire and motivate team members.

· Work with internal and external strategic partners to create products using the most current industry best practices

· Setting an example for the larger team through setting high creative standards and overall involvement in the larger agency initiatives.

· May develop junior teams with careful and consistent feedback, mentorship and model behavior

· May train and supervise team members. Oversee their creative efforts to ensure they are on strategy, on schedule, and are meeting creative standards.

· May oversee career development of junior team members. Perform reviews to determine strengths, growth opportunities, goals, and ambitions.

· Remain current on latest creative trends globally. Stay curious about award shows, past and present case studies, production companies, and everything that is being created by some of the best people and companies in our industry. Only by gaining an understanding of what kind of work moves you and what it takes to get there, you will then be able to create work that moves others.

· Stay on top of the latest technological advancements, including design software, digital tools, and platforms, to enhance creative processes and deliver innovative solutions

· Remain curious about pop culture, social media trends and your audience's interests and behaviors in order to infuse culturally relevant elements into briefs and campaigns. Bring the outside world into our work, so our brands can join the conversation.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

· At least 12 years of industry experience in a well-established, creative role with a proven track record of agency success

· Agency experience working across all channels

· Strong creative portfolio highlighting relevant/category experience and industry award winning work

· Solid verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to all levels of clients

· Knowledge of marketing, all forms of advertising, and digital experiences, with proven conceptual and design abilities

· Experience working with large teams in client-facing role

· Excellent written and presentation skills

· Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
