Provide IT Infrastructure support to manufacturing plant employees and resources. Troubleshoot problems, collaborate with regional team lead and escalate quickly and accurately when appropriate.
DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Provide technical operational support for manufacturing plant-related client desktops, handheld devices, Laptops, Process PCs, and Servers and software, Printers, and Label printers, network Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Phones, and Wireless/WIFI access points.
- Accurately document problem information with ticketing process provided
- Make use of technical acumen and skills as well as managed services team knowledge to resolve problems and escalate problems appropriately.
- Communicate as needed with regional lead and corporate offices
- Properly produce appropriate / requested documentation for all work processes
- Assists end users in resolving hardware and software issues by fielding telephone calls, email communication, help desk tickets, diagnosing problems, and performing troubleshooting activities
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Experience supporting Outlook, Windows, Word, Excel, and other desktop and mobile applications
- Good time management and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills including ability to translate technical information and directions to non-technical staff
- Microsoft and CompTIA certifications highly preferred
