Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities and ensure the overall well-being of our clients.
Duties
- Provide personal hygiene assistance such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in health status
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities
- Create and implement care plans tailored to each client's needs
- Perform patient observation and maintain accurate records
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred
- Proficiency in patient monitoring and hospice care
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong patient care skills including social work principles
- CPR certification is a plus
- Basic cooking skills are desirable
