About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rental Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the community, including processing invoices, managing bank accounts, and preparing financial reports. You will also be expected to operate the property management software (Yardi/OneSite) and complete transactions by entering all required fields correctly and by completing updates and back-ups to ensure the integrity of the system.
Responsibilities
This role involves completing various tasks, including processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, fees, and other payments, preparing daily bank deposits and reconciling bank accounts, and preparing financial reports. You will also be responsible for reviewing resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid and/or late fees owed, communicating with residents regarding outstanding balances, implementing procedures for collecting on delinquencies, and enforcing the lease to maximize revenue.
