Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative for our pre-owned vehicle dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record, and the ability to analyze market trends to develop effective sales strategies. This role requires a blend of account management, customer service, and negotiation skills to foster relationships with clients and achieve sales targets.
As a small dealership, there will be times when the applicant will be the only sales representative in the office. Because of this, the role comes with broader responsibilities than what you might find at larger dealerships- including managing customer service, keeping things running smoothly, and stepping in wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Work directly with the owner to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Organize and maintain the vehicle lot to ensure a clean, orderly appearance, and have vehicles prepared and accessible for customer appointments or walk-ins.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Effectively communicate with customers in a timely manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients while maintaining strong relationships.
- Create detailed vehicle write-ups and post listings across various online platforms, including Facebook Marketplace and other sales channels.
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve the overall process of the business as a whole.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends in order to make strategic decisions.
- Experience in account management with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools is preferred.
- Experience with all necessary paperwork to close a deal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
