This is an entry-level position at a well-establish web development company in the front range of Colorado (preference given to local applicants).

We are looking for someone who adds personality to our team rather than technical skills. However, some skills that we are looking for are good communication, strong customer service skills, being a team player, and a love for learning.

In this Jr Web Developer position, you will have opportunities to manage client websites, website security, write code, create designs, and customer service.

Core Responsibilities

The Junior Web Developer is responsible for executing requested content updates to client websites as well as learning and assisting in the design, coding, and modification of websites, from layout to function and per client specifications.  This includes, but isn’t limited to:

• Content and plugin updates to websites, many using the WordPress CMS
• Designing, testing, coding, deploying, iterating, and gathering feedback from clients
• Creating visually appealing sites with user-friendly designs and clear navigation
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Collaborating with individuals at all levels of our organization internally as well as our client organizations

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Data Entry experience
• Understanding or familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or PHP is a plus.
• Previous website administration or experience with WordPress a plus.
• Strong desire to learn web technologies
• Previous customer service experience

Physical Requirements

Work is primarily knowledge-worker-oriented using computer systems.  Occasional exertion and lifting of up to 20 pounds to move office or computer equipment.  Occasional crawling, kneeling and squatting.  Constant use of a computer (keyboard/mouse), and phone.  Visually inspects, prepares, and analyzes data & figures; views computer constantly.  Occasional travel (car).  Occasional exposure to outdoor environmental conditions as a result of travel.
