What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vineyard Worker position at Greystone Winery?
Greystone Winery in North Stonington, CT is hiring for summer, seasonal and potential long-term openings for vineyard positions.
This is a position to work outdoors in our vineyard and farm!

Greystone Winery is a new winery in the Mystic area in its fourth season. The vineyard includes 30 acres of vines and is currently building its new wine processing and visitor facilities.
Duties for this role include working closely with existing vineyard staff to plant and care for new vines, take care of existing vines, do trellis work, and take overall care of the farm.
Applicants should:
- Be team players excited to add to the positive work culture of Greystone
- Be able to be physically active, lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long hours, and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Possess general experience farming and/or landscaping
- Work cooperatively and positively with the vineyard team.
- Demonstrate safe and trustworthy behavior.
- Tractor and mowing experience are highly desired; but will train
- Work schedule is generally Monday - Friday, with some flexibility and occasional weekends depending on weather. Hours can be somewhat flexible (to fit with the team).
Multiple candidates will be hired. $18 - $22 hourly depending on experience.
