Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of plated or anodized parts using a microscope or the naked eye, depending on department requirements.
- Identify and segregate defective parts according to defect mode and notify the appropriate party for corrective action.
- Adhere to work process instructions and maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Cross-train in additional skills to support shipment and production goals.
- Report any safety, environmental, or quality concerns and may halt production or shipments if necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- Previous related experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read and interpret documentation.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
- High attention to detail for defect identification.
- Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, contribute ideas, and work effectively as part of a team.
