We are currently seeking a skilled Automatic Inspection Machine (AIM) Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our AIM machines, ensuring the quality of the parts we produce. This role is integral to our commitment to safety and quality, and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Load and unload components for inspection.
- Operate AIM machines, monitoring the inspection process and making necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure optimal performance, and troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, including job orders, setup details, and quality control checks.
- Work closely with the Engineering department, reporting mechanical issues as they arise.
- Coordinate seamless shift transitions of AIM Machines between the first and second shifts.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
- Previous experience operating AIM Machines preferred.
- PLC experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of machining processes.
- Ability to lift between 25 and 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance and repair.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical and execute physical requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Salary : $38,300
