Greystones is seeking a qualified Senior Social Scientist to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), developing cybersecurity, data analytics, and IT capabilities. This role will focus on strategic planning, specifically responsible for the development of plans, schedules, and budgets to meet contractual requirements for a segment of IRS programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset to effectively contribute to program success
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans and schedules that align with IRS program objectives and contractual obligations.
- Create and manage budgets to ensure financial efficiency and compliance with IRS requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IRS stakeholders to gather inputs and insights for effective strategic planning.
- Monitor program progress and performance, making necessary adjustments to plans and schedules to meet established goals.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform strategic decisions and enhance program outcomes.
- Prepare and present reports on strategic plans and progress to IRS management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and contractual requirements in program execution.

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Social Science, Public Policy, Business Administration, or related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in strategic planning, program management, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to develop actionable strategies based on analytical insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
