Greywings Logistics, a FedEx Contractor, is seeking part and full-time delivery drivers and offers competitive industry pay and benefits. Pay is a flat daily rate by route, with all rates listed here being starting rates. All routes dispatch from Sherman, Texas. Greywings operates 6 days a week, with full-time positions requiring 5 days of work.
Routes are in East Denison, Texas, along Highway 75 through the surrounding Durant, OK, area, and across Highway 70 through to the surrounding Hugo, OK, area. New drivers cover routes whose regular drivers are unscheduled to work that day.
Requirements:
Pass a background check, physical, and drug test (including randoms throughout the year)
Be 21 or older with a clean driving record
Lift up to 150 lbs without assistance
Experience (6 months or more):
Delivery and/or transportation experience, such as ride-share (Uber/Lyft), food delivery (Uber Eats/Pizza), grocery delivery (Instacart/Spark), garbage truck routes, trailer hauling, school/passenger bus/van, CDL, etc.
Pay:
All pay is a flat daily rate with drivers in vehicles under 10,000 lbs eligible for overtime
Pay is by route, with raises earned every six months for the first year and by merit thereafter
Training - $130 a day
Transit Delivery Drivers - $140 a day
Transit/Step Van Drivers - $155 a day
Step Vans - $160-$180 a day
Eastern routes around Hugo earn an extra $10 above base rates
Bonus opportunities:
$25 extra for working Saturday (all new hires work Saturdays)
$25/$35 helping bonus (assist another route with deliveries and earn $25/$35 per 10 deliveries depending on the area)
Schedule:
Greywings delivers 6 days a week from Monday-Saturday with a full-time employee working 5 days
Monday-Friday schedules are earned through seniority & route assignment; all new drivers will work Mondays and Saturdays
Training is Monday-Friday as a courtesy, typically lasting around two weeks
Upon completion of training, the new driver will be assigned their additional off day someday between and including Tues-Friday
Responsibilities:
Safely organize your van, plan your route, and deliver the right packages to the right place to the satisfaction of the customer
Ensure all packages handled are properly accounted for by the end of the day
Conduct pre-trip inspections and alert management to maintain your vehicle
