Power Systems Studies Engineer – Houston, TX
We are seeking a full-time, in-office Power Systems Studies Engineer to support system protection studies and relay settings for transmission, substation, and generation facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system protection and coordination studies.
- Develop relay settings and protection philosophies.
- Conduct short circuit, arc flash, and coordination studies using SKM and ETAP.
- Support field personnel during commissioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 5 years of experience in power system studies and protective relaying.
- Proficiency in SKM, ETAP, and SEL software.
- Strong knowledge of NESC, IEEE, NERC, and other industry standards.
