Position Details
- Job Type: 1099 Contract Position (no benefits)
- Pay Rate: $18/hour plus tips
- Schedule: Primarily evenings and weekends
- Event Types: Private parties, weddings, corporate events, baby showers, wedding showers, and more
Who You Are
We’re seeking individuals with hospitality experience who are organized, adaptable, and dedicated to making every event a success. If you love working with people and are excited by the variety of events, this role is perfect for you!
Responsibilities
- Set up the bar area, including arranging glassware, garnishes, mixers, and spirits.
- Greet guests and take drink orders in a friendly and professional manner.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event.
- Handle electronic payments if required.
- Engage with guests while maintaining a professional and efficient workflow.
- Restock supplies as needed during the event.
- Follow all local alcohol laws and venue policies regarding beverage service.
- Break down and clean the bar area after the event, including disposing of trash, wiping surfaces, and storing leftover supplies properly.
- Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Proven bartending experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
