What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Manager position at Grid Networks?
We are looking for a Contract Manager with both an understanding of the Federal Government Contracting process, Commercial Contracting process, and a basic understanding of accounting, finance and contracting principles. This individual will be integrated with the Contracts team but will work cross functionally to support other areas of the commercial business operations team as needed.

- Have 7 years of experience working with Federal Government or Commercial requirements
- Have experience in the following areas:
- Conducting analysis and research into policy and best practices
- Consulting with Federal Government or Commercial entities related to Contracts Management
- Administration experience and handling of documentation
- Experience working cross functionally within a diverse workforce.
- Research of legal and statutory requirements
- Working within a team.
- Prioritizing high priority requirements to meet strict deadlines and objectives.
- Have ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Prior managerial experience.
- Are organized
- Attitude and aptitude are key. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work collaboratively with team members, including in an advisory role to program management, executive management, and the customers
- FAR, DFAR, or other Acquisition Supplements
- Industry or Government contracts certifications (CPCM, CCCM, CFCM, etc….)
- Highly proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.…)
- Understanding of Pricing, Finance, or Accounting principles.
- Interest and/or experience in Vendor/Subcontractor Management.
- Experience in mobile telecom space
