Position Summary
Responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to support our machining operations. Will also collaborate with our engineering and production teams to ensure the efficient production of high-quality components.

Responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to support our machining operations. Will also collaborate with our engineering and production teams to ensure the efficient production of high-quality components.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to develop CNC programs.
- Receive drawings in from the detailer.
- Sort drawings by size and type, then print our information (cut lists, etc.) (Beams go into separate program) *the detailer sends files-drawings for programming as needed*
- Check size, quantity, angle, etc. in the program.
- After nesting into Fabtrol, files are sent to the CNC Machinists *Drawing packages- cut lists, nest reports, cover sheets, production travelers *typically 4-5 sets of drawings.
- Emails are then sent to CNC Supervisor that the job is ready for shop.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- MS Office experience.
- Ability to understand basic machining principles and practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong computer skills are essential.
- Precision and attention to detail.
