Operations Analyst

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for reporting and analysis of the operations department for all Southland entities. This role is highly visible and is required to effectively collaborate with all internal groups, including production and accounting team members and leadership, analyzing projects at all stages, both operationally and financially. This position will report to the Director of Finance.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze operational and financial key performance indicators
• Develop relationship and cadence with operations leaders on upcoming and in-flight projects, including scheduling, billing, risks, etc.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting, throughout the year and during the annual budget process
• Own operating models for business units
• Assist in processing automation and technology implementation to improve efficiency
• Provide senior management with data-driven analyses and recommendations related to the financial objectives and production goals of the company
• Maintain good corporate relations with co-workers, customers, vendors, auditors, and other affiliates.
• Occasional travel between Amite and Greensburg offices for meetings (approximately fifteen miles apart).
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products; strong Excel skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• 2 years’ experience in operations analyst / finance-type role
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
