Global Rescue LLC is seeking to hire an accomplished Business Analyst for its Islamabad office. This is a mid-level position requiring the incumbent to have strong analytical, product management and communication skills. The ideal candidate should also have thorough experience in business process documentation, design, and analysis aiding in attainment of complete satisfaction of clients and customers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to comprehensively understand and document business objectives, processes, and requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Communication and Engagement: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of customer needs and strategies through both formal and informal communication. Facilitate project meetings and deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including senior management, business teams, and technical staff.
- Project Documentation: Develop and manage essential project documentation, including issue logs, meeting minutes, schedules, project summaries, and updates.
- Information Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into detailed insights, and identify business process/system inefficiencies.
- Requirements Documentation: Transform gathered information into clear and comprehensive business requirements documents, functional specifications, and other relevant documentation, such as swimlane diagrams, use cases, flow/sequence diagrams, future state proposals, and UAT plans. Ensure all documentation is well-structured, detailed, and easily understandable.
- System Integration: Verify that system requirements align with business needs, ensuring seamless integration and implementation of new systems or system features.
- Development and Testing Support: Work closely with developers to implement requirements, offer guidance to testers in developing test plans and cases, and ensure implemented solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
- Facilitation and Presentation: Facilitate, train, and present deliverables to all stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in business process documentation, design, and analysis; business process workflow preferable.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and schedule and meet deadlines.
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Proven ability to work with users, offshore business team, and developers to define and document solutions to business requirements
- Proven experience of UML modeling, and the development of use case documents and other UML diagrams
- Prior experience on working with tools to create mocks and wireframes.
- Proven ability to understand IT projects and concepts as they relate to high-level business objectives and business processes, and the ability to effectively present those concepts to both IT and non-IT audiences
- Ability to draw system and application architecture diagrams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with various levels of an organization.
