Position Summary: The Software Developer (Client Implementation & Support) will play a hybrid role in both software development and direct client-facing technical support. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining web-based APIs and integrations while also providing hands-on technical assistance to customers during onboarding and ongoing support. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, a customer-first mindset, and a deep technical understanding of API-driven integrations.

This position requires working closely with both internal engineering teams and external customers to ensure seamless integration and troubleshooting of our solutions. The candidate will be expected to actively engage in coding, debugging, implementation, documentation, and customer success efforts.

Essential Functions:

Software Development & Integration

· Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions and APIs.

· Deliver high-quality, maintainable code with a focus on performance and security.

· Create and update automated test scripts to ensure integration reliability.

· Actively participate in solution design with senior engineers and architects.

Client Implementation & Support

· Serve as a technical expert during customer onboarding, guiding clients through API integrations and troubleshooting common setup issues.

· Provide hands-on support to clients, resolving technical issues related to integrations, API usage, and system compatibility.

· Work closely with implementation teams, customer success, and engineering to ensure smooth deployments.

· Create and maintain knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides for frequently encountered integration challenges.

Collaboration & Agile Development

· Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment alongside product owner, engineers, and project managers.

· Participate in code review and knowledge-sharing sessions with senior and principal engineers.

· Contribute to continuous integration and DevOps initiatives for efficient software deployment.

Competencies:

· 1-3 years .NET/C# Framework experience required, with .NET Core / .NET 5 and later being a strong plus.

· 1-3 years’ experience with modern JavaScript and UI frameworks, Tailwind, Angular a strong plus.

· Hands-on experience working with web service technologies including RESTful services, JSON, SOAP

· Experience in automated unit testing and acceptance testing frameworks (NUnit, Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, etc…)

· Working experience with version control (Git)

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process preferred

· Experience in client-facing technologies and heavy hands-on development as an individual contributor

· Experience in technical support, API integration, or customer onboarding is a plus.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Experience working directly with customers to troubleshoot technical issues.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

· Proven ability to learn and adapt to change quickly and easily

· Familiarity with DevOps, continuous delivery, configuration management, and tools is desired

Education and/or skills

· BA/BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience

· 3 years of relevant hands-on software development experience

· 5 years of programming/development experience required.

· Experience in client-facing technologies and heavy hands-on development as an individual contributor

Physical Demands

· Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
