Grider Support Services - Licensed Practical Nurse
Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Pay Range : $23.00 - 27.00
Position Type : Full-time, day shift (about 8am to 4pm)

Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests such as, but not limited to, manual blood pressure, height, weight, BMI and pulseAssist with patient assessments and documentation of medical historiesMaintain equipment used in the care of patientsObserve and monitor patient condition and document these in accordance with nursing standardsMaintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, in accordance with internal and legal regulationsAssist with examination and in-office treatment by handing providers instruments and materialsAdminister immunizations, injections. May also perform EKG testing, pulse oximetry testing and phlebotomyTransport patients in acute, outpatient and long-term care facilitiesTeach and / or assist with patient and family health care teaching as outlined on the care plan or as directedInform nurse or manager of any changes to and current status of patients’ conditionEducate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive careEnsure accurate documentation of patient care in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systemsDeliver exemplary customer service in order to provide a positive experience across the organizationPerform other duties assigned by management.Minimum Qualifications of a LPN :
Education :
Completion of a course of study in a registered School of Practical Nursing approved by the New York
State Education Department possession of a license and current registration to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the New York State Education Department
Experience :
1-2 years of nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting, preferred
License / Registration / Certification :
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, required
Specialized Knowledge / Skills :
Strong clinical skills with proficiency in tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medication, updating patient chart information and assisting with minor procedures.Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other healthcare technologyAbility to perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage follow-up care.Critical thinking, time management, strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to handle various clinical situations.Grider Support Services, LLC. is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. The pay range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant at the time of posting. When determining pay, several factors will be considered including but not limited to location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, professional credentials, internal equity, and budget.
