Leak Survey Technician

Location: Laporte, IN, 46350

Job Description:

The Leak Survey Technician will be responsible for conducting leak detection surveys on natural gas pipelines and facilities. The technician will use various leak detection equipment and tools to identify and locate leaks, and will document and report any leaks found. The technician will also be responsible for performing maintenance and calibration on equipment, as well as maintaining accurate records of surveys and repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers and other stakeholders as needed
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Previous experience in leak detection or related field preferred
