Position Summary:
The Aircraft Maintenance Planner is responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring maintenance plans for the Gridiron Air fleet. This role ensures that all aircraft maintenance activities are coordinated and performed timely and efficiently, maintaining the fleet's safety and operational readiness. The Aircraft Maintenance Planner reports to the Manager of Maintenance Planning.
Reports To: Manager of Maintenance Planning
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Primary Job Duties:
- Schedule and plan all aircraft maintenance activities per Gridiron Air policies and procedures
- Monitor maintenance progress and ensure it's performed promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor and analyze aircraft maintenance data and trends.
- Plan and manage activities related to changes in aircraft fleets.
- Optimize maintenance workloads to minimize aircraft downtime.
- Track and coordinate maintenance deferrals and parts requirements.
- Route aircraft based on maintenance and operational needs.
- Coordinate with the Operations Control Center on flight-related matters.
- Reconcile and adjust maintenance plans as needed.
- Authorize changes in the work scope as dictated by changing conditions during maintenance and communicate proposed changes to the Director of Maintenance.

Experience:
- Proven experience in aviation maintenance planning
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management or related field preferred
