We are looking for a friendly and organized receptionist to manage our front desk, greet visitors, and handle administrative tasks with professionalism.

A receptionist serves as the first point of contact for a company, creating a welcoming and professional environment for visitors, clients, and employees. Their primary responsibilities include greeting guests, managing phone calls by answering, screening, and redirecting them as necessary, and handling scheduling and appointments. Receptionists also coordinate front-desk activities, such as distributing correspondence, maintaining records, and providing general administrative support to various departments. They play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office, resolving inquiries, and addressing issues in a timely and efficient manner. With strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills, a receptionist is essential for maintaining a positive and efficient workplace atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer, screen, and redirect incoming phone calls professionally.
- Manage scheduling, including appointments, meetings, and service jobs.
- Apply for permits and city registrations and file them upon receipt.
- Get mail from the mailbox, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues or escalate them when necessary.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks.
- Create and organize folders for sales representatives, including relevant literature and materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.
- Ability to manage phone systems and schedule appointments.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts if required.
- Knowledge of office procedures and basic administrative tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
