Data Analyst Location : Hawaii Work Type : Onsite
Clearance : TS / SCI Responsibilities : Data Analyst - Uses modeling, simulation tools, and technical methods to analyze data. Performs analysis, studies, needs assessments, requirements definition, and cost / benefit analyses to align business systems and solutions. Utilizes analytic methods to meet needs and supports data collection. Experience Summary : Reviewed and developed current indicators analyzing medical, dental, institutional, and pharmacy claims data to detect improper payments to Medicaid providers due to fraud, waste, and abuse and ensuring current models fit Indiana data schemas. Researched relevant policies, regulations, and coding guidelines related to indicators. Performed data quality checks on ETL processes and identify any defects. Monitored current fraud trends for additional indicators. Developed algorithms utilizing a variety of tools (SQL-based database systems, ArcGIS, i2 Analyst’s Notebook, Excel) analyzing medical, dental, institutional, and pharmacy claims data to detect improper payments to Medicaid providers due to fraud, waste, and abuse. Compensation and Benefits :
Salary Range : $100,000-150,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
