Job Description - Systems Engineer
What You Will Do :
Gridiron IT is seeking a System Engineers to outwit complexity and be a part of our fast-growing litigation and investigation support practice. Every organization today faces complexity across multiple levels on a frequent basis. And navigating these challenges and opportunities demands more than the one-dimensional maps, tools, or solutions of the past. You need a guide with an understanding of your industry and the proven experience to navigate the changing terrain ahead. Join our team supporting the Department of Justice and guide our customers through the complexities associated with data proliferation and the growing technical and legal challenges of eDiscovery.
The Systems Engineer :
- Supports eDiscovery Review, Analysis, and Preservation platforms, such as Veritas eDiscovery Platform (eDP) (Clearwell), Relativity, and Enterprise Vault, performing engineer and administrator services in support of electronic discovery including the operations and maintenance of these platform.
- Ensures high availability and routine operation and maintenance of these systems, including training and developing standard operating procedures, identify innovative approaches to leverage technology in support of repeatable and defensible eDiscovery workflows, weekly / monthly maintenance, and incident response.
- Systems are deployed on physical and virtualized servers, have geographically separated data centers for Continuity of Operations, massive amount of attached storage and requires a wide range of supporting tasks, including but not limited to :
- Participate in teleconferences or technical meetings to review, educate, and support program objectives.
- Process storage requests, migrations, and decommission tasks.
- Monitor failed system components and coordinate vendor and intra-agency support (L2-L4).
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- The Systems Engineer has a sound understanding of accompanying enterprise services, such as M365 Core and Premier Discovery.

Compensation and Benefits Salary Range :
150,000 - $190,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
