Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in our Steel Fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, including ASIC standards, as well as the ability to analyze data and implement effective quality control measures.
Duties
- Prior steel fabrication experience is required
- Conduct thorough inspections of products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and specifications.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare reports on product quality, identifying any defects or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to FDA regulations and company policies regarding quality assurance.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and measurements in accordance with quality management protocols.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in the development of quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and ISO 9001 standards is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations related to product safety and quality is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
