What You'll Do:
- Be a Leader: Oversee daily job-site operations, delegate tasks, and maintain efficiency and momentum.
- Work Hands-On: Lead by example, performing finish carpentry tasks such as installing cabinets, doors, windows, and trim with precision and care.
- Ensure Quality: Inspect work throughout the day to meet or exceed project specifications and our craftsmanship standards.
- Solve Problems: Tackle on-site challenges with a solutions-driven mindset to keep projects on track.
- Foster Communication: Act as the liaison between the crew, clients, and supervisors, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
- Champion Safety: Maintain a safe job site by enforcing OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
What You Bring:
- Proven Carpentry Expertise: Extensive experience (5 Plus years) in finish carpentry, with a deep understanding of tools, materials, and techniques.
- Leadership and Mentorship Skills: The ability to lead by example, manage crews effectively (3 years leading a team), and cultivate a positive and productive environment.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Adept at scheduling tasks and managing time to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. Previous experience with cloud based construction management software is a big plus.
- Professional Communication: Clear and confident communication with clients, team members, and supervisors.
- Commitment to Excellence: A passion for quality, safety, and craftsmanship in every project.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in rough framing is a plus, but not required.
- Formal carpentry training or certifications are an added advantage.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with Jason, our Supervisor/Foreman, to ensure projects are executed to the highest standards.
