The Senior Accountant role will report directly to the VP of Finance & Accounting and will be responsible for managing day to day financial transactions, preparing accurate and timely financial statements through Gridmatic’s ERP system and ensuring accuracy of data and reporting to the senior and executive leaders of Gridmatic. The Role

What you might work on:
- Record and maintain a company's daily, monthly, quarterly & annual financial transactions and financial statements using its ERP system
- Assist in reconciling AR & AP aging reports and set new processes, as necessary and provide weekly updates to the applicable groups
- Manage at least weekly vendor payments through
- Assist FP&A Manager with weekly update of cash flow analysis
- Assist Retail Operations group in recording sales invoice payments
- Assist FP&A Manager in preparing consolidated financials of the Parent and Affiliated entity
- Reconcile payroll in QBO linked to PEO system paid at least twice a month
- Assist with year-end 1099 filings
- Assist VP of Finance & Accounting in recording tax liabilities including but not limited to the state and sales tax
- Collaborate with various internal teams in managing vendor payments and Retail customer receipts
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, as applicable
- Bachelors in Finance, accounting or similar; CPA is a plus but not required
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Basic understanding of the GAAP financial statements
- Knowledge of energy markets is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards; tax and industry regulations a plus
- Project management experience is a plus but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Fast learner of any financial software
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Self-starter with excellent judgment, integrity, reliability and competency
- Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
