Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through the service process while ensuring a high level of satisfaction. This role requires exceptional customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding their vehicle needs and the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their service needs, providing recommendations based on mechanical knowledge.
- Prepare detailed service estimates and explain services required, including oil changes, tire service, and suspension work.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services, including diesel engine repair and shocks/struts replacement.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience throughout the service process.
- Manage service writing tasks, documenting all customer interactions and vehicle history accurately.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Experience
- Proven experience in an automotive service environment is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or auto service management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
