Essential Duties And Responsibilites
- General Repairs & Maintenance:
- Perform routine and ad-hoc inspections and repairs across the club's premises, ensuring all facilities are in excellent working condition.
- Patch and paint walls, repair dents, remove marks and smooth out imperfections.
- Repair or replace light fixtures, switches, bulbs, and electrical outlets.
- Handle basic plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks and replacing faucets, shower valves, and other fixtures.
- Help to maintain clean and organized storage areas, assisting other departments as needed.
- Aesthetic Upkeep:
- Apply paint and touch-ups to maintain the aesthetic standards of the club.
- Ensure all member-use areas of the club remain clean and clutter free.
- Repair and patch stucco and other surfaces as needed to maintain a polished look.
- Signage & Fixtures:
- Install and hang signs, pictures, and nameplates throughout the club.
- Special Projects & Event Support:
- Assist with setting up, breaking down, maintaining, and supporting special events as needed, at times during overnight or off-hours.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and contribute to project-based tasks.
- Cleaning:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean the gymnasium, fitness areas, lounge spaces, hallways, and locker rooms.
- Sanitize and restock all bathrooms, including replenishing towels, soap, toilet paper, and other amenities.
- Clean and disinfect fitness equipment, benches, and machines regularly to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Clean mirrors, windows, and other glass surfaces, especially in the gym and tennis areas.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with club policies.
- Restaurant & Dining Areas:
- Clean dining tables, chairs, and seating areas in the restaurant and cafe.
- Wipe down counters and high-touch surfaces in dining areas.
- Ensure the restaurant floor is clean and free from debris, including sweeping and mopping as needed.
- Tennis Court and Outdoor Areas:
- Clean and maintain the club’s outdoor and indoor tennis courts, ensuring they are free of debris and dirt.
- Wipe down seating areas and benches located near the courts.
- Ensure that any outdoor equipment (e.g., tennis ball carts, nets) is kept tidy and in good condition.
- Laundry and Linens:
- Wash, dry, and fold towels, gym clothing, and other linens used by members.
- Ensure that fresh towels are readily available for the pool, gym, and tennis players.
- Maintain an organized system for linen storage and ensure all items are properly laundered.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, towels, and toiletries for locker rooms and gym areas.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or inventory shortages to the facility manager.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Use cleaning products safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure that all areas are regularly disinfected, especially high-touch surfaces like door handles, gym equipment, and locker room facilities.
- Customer Service & Member Interaction:
- Greet and assist members and guests with any cleaning-related requests, such as additional towels, spills or gym equipment.
- Maintain a polite, professional demeanor while working around members and staff.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up or cleaning for special events, tournaments, or activities hosted by the club.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks during club closures or routine off-hours.
