Summary
The Private Events Manager is the primary point of contact for all member / sponsored guests who wish to plan an event at the club. The principal focus of this position is to ensure that the wants and needs of club members and guests are consistently exceeded. They will be responsible for developing and implementing a sales plan to increase private sales events. Further, they will be responsible for and oversee all administrative and operational aspects of preparing and serving events, including supervising staff when necessary. Additionally, this position will work with the rest of the management to help plan and execute club-wide member events as necessary.
Essential Responsibilities

- Communicate effectively with those interested in hosting events at the Club, responding to all inquiries and correspondence within 24 hours.
- Anticipate member and guest needs, acting promptly regardless of how busy.
- Coordinate with the event host upon arrival regarding proper set-up and event execution.
- Develop and propose creative solutions to meet event requests as needed.
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist in directing them to the event area.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and professionals prior to the event, making introductions and assuring all arrangements are agreeable.
- Coordinate deliveries of scheduled event amenities with vendors.
- Maintain confidentiality of member and guest information and pertinent Club data.
- Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for each scheduled event, including particular characteristics of wines ordered, type of function, expected attendance, scheduled hours of service, special arrangements, order of service, traffic flow, and payment arrangements.
Other Duties
This role is listed at $70-75k per year with quarterly sales bonuses.
