Job Overview:
As a Car Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and delivering top-notch customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in finding the perfect vehicle to meet their needs while ensuring a seamless buying experience.
- Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses. Suggest alternative vehicles if necessary.
- Provides thorough product information and demonstration to all prospects.
- Offers test drives to all prospects. Follow dealership procedures to obtain proper identification from the customer before the test drive begins.
- Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Utilizes dealership sales control and follow-up system.
- Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devises a strategy to meet those goals.
- Delivers vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork.
- Introduces customer service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
- Schedules first service appointment
- Follow-up on all post-deliveries items, "we owe: and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
- Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
- Work with the service department and body shop to ensure that vehicles are properly reconditioned on schedule.
- Attend sales meetings.
- Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
- Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
- Other tasks as assigned.
