What You’ll Do:
As a Green Goods Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of our company, engaging with customers across various settings such as residential areas, sales offices, showrooms, and garden centers. You’ll:
- Build lasting relationships with existing clients while seeking out new business opportunities.
- Showcase our diverse range of products—plants, seeds, and horticultural supplies—and provide expert advice to help customers make informed decisions.
- Travel throughout your territory to meet customers, attend trade shows, and network within the industry.
- Accurately estimate delivery dates, resolve payment issues, and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Business, or a related field is preferred. A high school diploma is required.
- Previous sales experience in the horticultural or agricultural industry is highly desirable. Familiarity with retail and wholesale distribution is a plus.
Skills:
- Knowledge of horticultural products, including plants and gardening supplies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building customer relationships
- Ability to travel regularly within your designated territory
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with computer systems (Onliant or similar systems is a plus)
