What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Exercise Physiologist, Per Diem position at Griffin Health Brand?
MAIN FUNCTION: To assess patients based on their medical history for admission into the Cardiac Rehab Program. Assists in the development of exercise prescriptions and protocols and supervises exercise therapy. Works with the Winfit Program to offer employees fitness center options, profiles and program recommendations. Manages calibration, maintenance and use of exercise equipment and education of patients in equipment concepts.
EDUCATION: Bachelors or Masters in Exercise Science. Current CPR , BLS, and ACLS Certification. American College of Sports Medicine certification is preferred. Specialized training in exercise physiology and cardiac rehab.
EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years of experience in cardiac rehab or related field.
