What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Griffin Health Brand?
Provide patients with opportunity to discuss accounts/ask questions regarding insurance or patient liability. Provide answers or direction as needed to resolve patient inquiries.
Responsible for assisting patients with questions, and provide clarity to patients regarding their patient accounts, both in person and over the phone.
Maintains responsibility for attendance/reliability to ensure that the Hospital is operated in an efficient and cost effective.
EDUCATION: High school degree or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment. Knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred.
Skills Needed: Excellent listening skills, attention to detail. Broad understanding of billing and follow-up process in order to effectively answer patient inquiries. Ability to maintain a professional attitude, be objective and helpful with all patient dynamics, while always adhering to Griffin standards.
