What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intravenous Admixture Tech - Full Time position at Griffin Health Brand?
MAIN FUNCTION: Dispenses additives for I.V. and irrigating solutions according to standard procedures and under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or Registered Pharmacist. Mixes I.V. additive solutions as required using aseptic technique with the laminar airflow hood. Types labels, prepares and files charge slips.
EDUCATION: High school education. Some college and math course work required. Graduate of approved technician training program preferred.
EXPERIENCE: One year experience in a hospital pharmacy or with sterile product preparation.
