MAIN FUNCTION:
Oversees Services Departments: Environmental Services, Laundry, Grounds/Landscaping, Distribution, Shuttle, and Valet Services.
Supervises the day-to-day operation of the Environmental Services, Laundry, Grounds/Landscaping, Distribution, Shuttle, and Valet Services ensuring timely movement of patients, supplies, equipment, specimens and vehicles. Maintains and places orders for patient supplies and equipment. Supervise and coordinate the work activities of all assigned employees in the Environmental Services Department, to ensure a clean, orderly, and attractive environment.
1.Responsible for overseeing the daily work activities of Environmental Services staff to ensure that the Hospital cleanliness standards are maintained. Assigns work based on departmental needs.
2. Is knowledgeable about Departmental responsibilities relating to Environmental, Grounds/Landscaping, Linen and laundry, Distribution, Shuttle, and Valet Services.
3. Maintains responsibility for attendance/reliability to ensure that the Hospital is operated in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
4. Contributes to the mission of the Organization by supporting the Employee Philosophy, Planetree Model of Care, and organizational goals.
EDUCATION: High school degree required.
EXPERIENCE: Strong customer service experience required; Minimum of four (4) years Supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
