```Duties```
-Monday thru Thursday 7:15am to 5:00pm
- Assist the orthodontist in providing patient care and treatment during orthodontic procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Assist with taking impressions of patients' teeth
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
```Experience```
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an orthodontic assistant or dental assistant preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with medical terminology, dental assisting techniques, and infection control protocols
- Ability to provide compassionate care
- Understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
