Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Manager (Commercial Credit & Collections) is responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day activities to ensure optimal cash flow and minimal bad debt. This position requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department.
- Manage a team of AR specialists- oversee invoicing, issuing credit / debit memos, collection and cash application activities
- Develop and implement credit strategies, and work closely with our membership to resolve credit issues.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliations to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
- Prepare and present regular reports on credit and collection activities, including aging reports and DSO analysis.
- Handle complex or escalated collection issues and negotiate payment terms with customers.
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address credit-related issues and customer disputes.
