What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraeducator, Special Education - MIT Middle Eligibility Pool (2025-2026) position at Griffin Technology Academies?
The Paraeducator’s function is to support students with IEPs and other students with learning and/or psychological needs to experience academic and social/emotional success. Other essential functions include working closely with the Special Education teachers, the School Psychologist and the Deans to support and assist
organizing services to support the students.

These include: small class sizes, personalized instruction, extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities like, burgeoning athletic programs, before and after school care program, early college (dual enrollment, articulation, concurrent enrollment), AVID, and CTE courses. The schools also provide students with access to technology resources, including laptops and tablets. Students in High School have the opportunity for community service and internships overseen by our Work-Based Learning Coordinator (WBL).

Education, Qualifications and Experience:
-Professional or volunteer work with children or adults with special needs
-High school diploma
-And at least one of the following:
-Completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education or
-Valid Para Educator certificate or
Possession of an associate's degree or higher
Salary : $23 - $27
