Special Education Teacher, Griffin Academy Middle/High School (2024-2025)

The Special Education Teacher, under the guidance of the School Director, is responsible for creating an inclusive and engaging educational experience for all students. This position involves designing and delivering standards-aligned instruction that empowers students, including those with moderate to severe disabilities and those on the Autism Spectrum, to meet and exceed State standards while reaching their full potential. The teacher fosters a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous learning environment, providing specialized instruction that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development. Success in this role requires active collaboration with colleagues, parents, and outside agencies to develop cohesive lesson plans and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs, driving student achievement and mastery of key content standards.
