CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing:

• Proactively sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, building a robust deal pipeline through industry relationships.
• Utilizing advanced data analysis tools to extract actionable insights from large datasets and drive investment strategies.
• Representing the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to identify trends and potential investments.

Due Diligence:

• Conducting in-depth due diligence on potential investments from pre-Seed to pre-IPO, including rigorous financial modeling, market analysis, and competitor assessments.
• Crafting detailed investment memos and presentations, communicating key findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Developing and articulating clear investment theses, leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights to support decision-making.
• Leading special projects and strategic initiatives within the firm, including the exploration of emerging trends and new market opportunities.

Portfolio Company and LP Support:

• Monitoring and supporting portfolio companies, providing strategic insights to drive growth and optimize performance.
• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with co-investors, portfolio company management teams, Limited Partners, and industry partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, management consulting firm, venture capital fund, or in gaming corporate development or strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related field from a top-tier institution, with a GPA of 3.5 / 4.0.
• Exceptional analytical and Excel financial modeling skills, with a proven ability to identify and interpret trends within large data sets.
• Experience in crafting detailed investment memos and presentations in PowerPoint and Word, with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain business relationships and an eagerness to develop networking skills.
• Leadership instincts, with experience in taking initiative and driving projects to completion.
• Track record of success in a high-performance environment, with a demonstrated ability to deliver results under pressure.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
